Notes
a. Note:   On the 1860 Census for Moniteau County, Missouri, John W. is listed with the Taggart family. He was 18 and listed as a carpenter. He was not listed with the family at the 1870 census and as of this time I have been unable to find additional information on him. It is possible that John's middle name was William & that he was named after his grandfathers. 1870 Census - Polk Twp, Ray County, MO There is a John Taggart 28, MO farmer Lucy 27, MO keeping house Julia Ann 3, MO Adeline Ann 3, MO LDS site has this couple listed - John Taggart , born 2-3-1843 Ray County, M0 died 9-16-1915, Slip Up Cemetery, Ray County, MO Lucy Ann Wyman 1880 Census - lists this John, with parents both born in Ireland ???????
