Note: On the 1880 census Ella was living with her new husband at the Metropolitan Hotel and listed as keeping house. She listed her age as 24. June 8th & 9th, 1880 Robert may have listed father's birthplace as Hamburg. On the 1890-91 Sidney, Nebraska Busness Gazateer, Robert was listed as the proprietor of the Metropolitan Hotel.
