Note: Copies of death certificate & burial record Picture of headstone OBITUARY [Troy Daily News 11/20/1958]: JAMES C BEAL, 32, DIES IN HOSPITAL, RITES SATURDAY James C Beal, 32, of 1439 Sussex road died Wednesday at 11:15 pm in Stouder Memorial hospital. His death followed a serious illness of four months. He had been in the hospital since October 12, 1958. He was born January 9, 1926, the son of Oscar and Margaret Eidemiller Beal in Troy. He was a graduate of Staunton High school and served in the U S Army. He was a member of the Congregational Christian churh and the Franklin lodge, No 14. He worked at the Hobart Mfg Co, for the past 15 years. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn; two sons, Scott Christopher, age 2 1/2 and James Craig, age five months; his mother Mrs Margaret Beal, of Troy; a sister Mrs Clarence Warner of Troy and a brother Fred Haaga, also of Troy. Services will be in the Irvin-Deeter funeral home at 3 pm Saturday with Dr Arthur Decker of the First Congregational Christian church in charge. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Masonic services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 7 pm. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday and until the time of service. The family also requests that flowers be omitted and that the money be given to the Cancer society. OBITUARY [Piqua Daily Call 11/21/1958]: JAMES C BEAL, 32, RESIDENT OF TROY Funeral rites for James C Beal, 32, of Troy will be held at 3 pm Saturday at the Irvin-Deeter Funeral Home there with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Mr Beal died Wednesday at Stouder Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Oct 12. He had been seriously ill the past four months. Rev Arthur Decker was in charge withe burial in Riverside cemetery here. Pallbearers were: Jack Sommers, Walter Meyer, Bruce Haaga, Donald Mills, Omer Rhoades and George Davis.
