  OBITUARY [Piqua Daily Call 10/08/1958]:
 OSCAR BEAL, 83, TROY RESIDENT
 Funeral services for Oscar Beal, 83, of 15 Morehead, Troy, will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Irvin-Deeter Funeral Home with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
 Mr Beal, a former employee of the Troy Sunshade Co for forty years, died at 9 pm Monday at Johnson Rest Home, Troy. He was a member of the first Congregational Church, the Eagles Lodge and the Troy Lodge of Redmen.
 Surviving are his wife, Margaret; two sons, James Beal and Fred Haaga; a daughter, Mrs Clarence Warner, all of Troy, and a brother, Ercie of New Carlisle.
 The Eagles will hold services at 7:30 pm today at the funeral home. OBITUARY [Troy daily News 10/08/1958]:
 OSCAR BEAL, 83, DIES, FUNERAL SET FOR THURSDAY
 Oscar Beal, 83, of 15 Morehead street, died at 9 pm Monday at the Johson rest home, where he had been a patient for the past five and one-half months.
 Mr Beal had been in failng health for several years and seriously ill for the past eight and one half months.
 He was employed at the Troy Sunshade Co for 40 years before retiring several yaers ago. Mr beal was amember of the first CongregationalChristian church, Troy Eagles lodge and the Troy lodge of Redmen.
 Born in Miami county on Aug 14.1875, he was the son of the late James W and Mary Baker Beal. He was married to Margaret Eidemiller in 1916.
 Surviving are his wife; two sons, James Beal and Fred Haaga, both of Troy; a daughter, Mrs Carence Warner of Troy; Abrother Ercie Beal of New Carlisle; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday at the Irvin-Deeter funeral home, with Dr Arthur C Decker, pastor of the First Congregational Christian church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetary.
 Friends may call at the funeral home, from noon Wednesday and Thursday until the time of the services. Eagles services will be conducted at 7:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
