 CLYDE WATKINS
 Troy - Clyde E Watkins, 81, of 1012 S Clay St, died at 12 noon Wednesday in Stouder Memorial Hospital, Troy.
 He was born Oct ,1900 in Miami County to the late Correy and Mary Estella Verdier Watkins.
 Surviving are his wife, the former Nannie Dorsey. The couple was married Dec 22, 1923 in Covington, Ky.
 Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs Paul Cruea (Carolyn), Troy; a sister Rthel Neese, Vandalia; two grandsons and one great-grandson. Two sisters are deceased.
 Mr Watkins was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy. He had retired from Hobart Corporation in 1966 after 43 years and was a member of its Quarter Century Club.
 Services will conducted at 10 am Saturday in the Deeter-Baird Funeral home, 555 N Market St, by the Rev Deborah Kaiser-Cross with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
 Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday. OBITUARY [Troy Daily News 09/16/1982]:
