  OBITUARY [Springfield Sun 04/30/1945]:
 OLIVER E BELL
 Oliver E Bell, 69, of 1220 W Main st, died in City Hospital at 1:48 am Sunday, following an eight-month illness. He had resided in Springfield for the past 32 years.
 He was born in Nashville, O, Aug 14, 1875, the son of William and Mary Bell. At one time, he was employed by the Clark County Lumber Co, and more recently by the Thompson Grinder Co.
 Survivors are the widow, Hattie; a son, Pfc Charles D serving with the army in France; a daughter, Mrs Alice Bauer of San Diego, Calif; three brothers, Oscar of Troy, Alvie of Osborn and Ercie of New Carlisle.
 The body was removed to Richards Memorial Home.
