Note: Copy Of Death Certificate OBITUARY [Troy Daily News 09/17/1931]: TROY WOMAN SUCCUMBS AFTER LONG ILLNESS MRS JENNIE EIDEMILLER DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER - FUNERAL FRIDAY AFTERNOON Mrs Jennie Eidemiller, 68, widow of Christopher M Eidemiller, of West Main street, succumbed Wednesday at 6 pm to a prolonged illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs Charles Emmel, in Staunton township, north of Troy, where shehad been cared for by her daughter since August 31. Mrs Eidemiller had been bedfast during the past three weeksand for a greater part of the time her death had been anticipated almost momentarily. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Emmel Residence on the Loy pike, seven and one-half miles north of this city. Rev Earnest D Barker, pastor of the Troy Methodist Episcopal circuit churches, will officiate. Burial will be made in the family plot in Rose Hill cemetery. Alberta Jane Francis Eidemiller was born near Mt Sterling, August 25. 1863, the daughter of William and Nancy Warren Francis. With the exception of a few years spent in Springfield and near Piqua, she had spent the greater part of her life in Troy. She was a member of the First Baptist church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs Emmel, Mrs Oscar Beal and Mrs Edward Carpenter, the latter residing near Piqua; three brothers, Ellsworth, Edward and William Francis, all residing near Troy; and four sisters, Mrs Minnie Jenkins, Mrs Joanna Weaver, both of Troy, Mrs Maggie Beedle Johnson and Mrs Ella Butler, both of Dayton, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs Oscar Beal of Troy, Mrs Edward Carpenter of near Piqua, and Mrs Emmel; three brothers, Ellsworth, Edward and William Francis, all of near Troy and four sisters, Mrs Minnie Jenkins of Troy, Mrs Joan Weaver, also of Troy and Mrs Ella Butler and Mrs Magie Johnson, both of Dayton. Walter Pearson, of the Brown township quartet, sang a group of three hymns, long-time favorites of the decedent. They were: "Face to Face", "The Old rugged Cross", and "In the Garden" Burial was made in the family plot in Rose Hill Cemetery With the following relatives acting as bearers of the pall: James Wright, Ralph Emmel, Clarence Warner, Marvin, Virgil, and Marion Francis.
