 GEORGE CARPENTER FOUND DEAD TODAY
 Lockington, March 27 - George Edgar Carpenter, 62, farmer, was found dead in bed at his home northwest of here this morning. Death was attribted to a heart attack.
 Carpenter was born in Shelby county, November 30, 1884, the son of John Taylor and Emma FlorenceBoor Carpenter. He was married February 14, 1918, to Emma Mae Eidemiller, who preceded him in death.
 Surviving are a son, John Thomas, at home; two daughters, Mrs Robert Paulus (Alberta) of Grand Rapids, Mich, and Mrs Howard Denman (mary Margaret) of near Piqua; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs Charles Hunt of near Piqua.
 Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the United Brethren church in Lockington, of which Carpenter was a member. The Rev J E McQuiston will officiate. Burial will be in Beechwood cemetery, Lockington.
 Friends may call at the Cromes funeral home in Sidney Friday afternoon and evening at at the residence after Saturday noon.

 FARMER FOUND DEAD IN BED BY MEMBERS OF FAMILY
 George E Carpenter, 62, well known farmer residing seven miles north of Piqua, succumbed to a sudden heart attack and was found dead in his bed at 5:30 am Thursday by his son and daughter, John Carpenter and Mrs Mary Margaret Denman.
 Mr Carpenter was born on the farm on which he resided, Nov 30, 1884, the son of John Tyler and Emma Florence Booher Carpenter, and had resided there all his life. His marriage to Miss Anna May Eidemiller of Troy, who preceded him in death approximately two years ago, was an event of Feb 14, 1918. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs Alberta Paulus of Grand Rapids, Mich; the son John, and daughter, Mrs Denman, who reside at home; sister, Mrs Charles Hunt, R R 1, Piqua and two grandchildren. Mrs Oscar Beal, R R 1, Troy and Mrs Charles Emmel of Sarasota, Fla, are sisters-in-law.
 Services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the residence and at 2:30 at the United Brethren church in Lockington and the burial made in the Lockington cemetery. Friends may call at the Cromes Funeral home in Sidney from 4 pm Friday until noon Saturday when the body will be taken to the residence, where friends may call until the funeral hour.
