Talley Jr. had a daughter named Tennessee that was born in Arkansas. Tennessee married a G. L. Morgan in Red River County, Texas on February 4, 1886. They had a son named Amos T. Morgan on 11/19/1886 in Red River County. Amos T. was my wife's grandfather. He died in 1972 and is buried in the Detroit cemetery in Red River county. He was living with his maternal grandfather Allen D. Talley Jr. in the 1900 Red River census. I have been unable to find anything about what happened to G. L. Morgan or Tennessee Morgan Talley. Do you have any information concerning what happened to them? The note on Ancestry.com says that Allen B. Talley was listed without wife in the 1900 Choctaw Oklahoma census. She was listed at the bottom as the daughter-in-law of Allen D. Talley Jr. Allen D. Talley Jr. was my wife's GGGrandfather. If I can be of help on anything, let me know. B. J. She evidently died between 8-15-1870 {when the census was taken} and 11-14-1872 when Allen married Mira McFerron in Red River Co TX. He is on the 1880 & 1900 Red River Co census. On the 1910 Choctaw Co OK census, Allen is listed as HOH {no wife} and Allen B {no wife}and his children are living with him. On the 1920 Choctaw census Allen B. is listed as HOH, wife Letha & children, and Allen, Jr {78}. I would like to see proof that he died in McCurtain County Oklahoma.
