Northland Thompson is actually Norfleet Thompson. He was listed several times as N Thompson and North Thompson but I have seen it a couple of times now as Norfleet which makes sense. I was sent the connecting information for Mira McFerron, daughter of Erin and Mira English McFerron. Turned out a Texas court case involving land in the 1850's named all the children and heirs of John and Sinia Bellew English. Mira English was named as Mira McFerron. So we have good information from there back. Simeon and Erina McFerron English lived in RRC from 1852. Rev Thomas Anderson married Columbia McFerron sister of Erina and they lived in RRC as well. In the early 1850's Thomas was listed as being the agent for Erin McFerron. The McFerron girls' mother lived with Simeon until her death in 1857. I have pictures of the Simeon English Cemetery on PigPen Ranch in RRC. In 1873 a McFerron was listed in the tax rolls. I believe he was Erin. Lou English Clark write that Uncle Erin visited them in Texas. I believe he did so about 1872 and that his daughter Mira stayed and married Allen Talley. Ray Porter 832-453-6056
