Note: Joseph Walter Tolar born: 3 Feb 1887, Perry, AR. died: ? Prentiss, Co. MS buried: Hodges Chapel Cemetery. Married: Clem(Clementine?) Johnson. Joseph and Albert were brothers. They both married sisters Clem and Ella Jane. Their parents: Author Reynold Tolar and Murdus L. Johnson. I am trying to find out any info on the Johnson sisters and their parents: Ben D. and Ella Johnson. I am told that Joseph Walter Tolar whipped Clem to death with horses reins, fled the area, returned and married Chessie Morgan, and had two children, Bobby and Helen. The Johnson sisters had 6 other siblings of which I have a lot of info on, except Clem. She is no where to be found. If you have any additional info, it would be greatly appreciated.
