a. Note:   rst and was about 31 years of age when he married Christina Bühler also of Gamshurst in (?)1786. This is an estimated year of marriage based on first born child, because the marriage register for the years 1770-1786 have been missing for years. Johann Georg was a citizen and farmer of Gamwhurst and had a total of 7 children (5 daughters and 2 sons), 4 of which survived into adulthood. In in 1817 at the age of 62, Johann Georg passed away.
Note:   !Johann Georg was the 4th child of Anton Volz and Maria Barbara Harter. He grew up in Gamshu
