a. Note:   g the date of death as being 1 February 1824. Indeed, the notation of death is correct when researching the deaths in the Sterbebuch for Gamshurst. The notation of death found on page 160 gives the age of Joseph as 54-11-10 husband of Magdalena Buhler. There is some confusion in the family book as to which Joseph Koch was married to Magdalena Buhler and a Maria Barbara Schell.
