a. Note:   zed at nearby Saint Boniface Church in Ludlow, Kentucky. Nicholas was a tinner by trade as noted in the 1910 census and was residing with his parents at 175 West Linden Street, and this information is also noted in the entry of the Covington City Directory of 1908-1909 in which Nicholas was a tinner at a tin shop, residing at the southwest corner of Linden and Helen. A few years later, he resided at the house at 522 Linden Street after his marriage to Marie E. Moorman in 1914(Rin 25). They were married in Saint John Church see (MRIN 3) which is situated in what used to be called "Piezelburg"......on Pike street in Covington Kentucky on 10 June 1914. Winesses were Henry Konerman and Bertha Moorman. Nicholas and Marie raised a large family-a total of nine children; 8 surviving into adulthood. The family lived and grew up on Linden street as mentioned above and Saint Boniface parish was where the family of eight went to school and church. Nicholas lived nearly 67 years, passing away shorly before his 67th birthday in 1955. His obituary appeared in the Cincinnati Enquirer on 3 novermber 1955 on page 19, and his funeral was held at Bullock funeral home at 461 Elm Street in Ludlow, Kentucky. He is buried in Saint John Cemetery along with his wife Marie, who passed away in 1978. His father Nicholas (Rin 5) and grandfather Octavian (Rin 1) are also buried in Saint John cemetery, all within a few feet of each other. A certified copy of Nicholas' Certificate of death was ordered from Frankfort, Kentucky and the date of burial is taken directly from the Certificate: File #116: #55-23114, and the funeral was held at Bullock Funeral Home.
