Notes
a. Note:   . There are several entries in the Williams Covington and Newport City Directory (which included Ludlow)for Frances. One curious entry was she was referred to as "junior" which was referring to her mother Frances (nee Konermann). The 1910 census lists Frances as a box maker at a box factory, residing with her siblings at their parents house at 175 West Linden Street in Ludlow, Kentucky. As years went by her siblings passed away and eventually she had the entire homestead to herself. In a family story it was realted to me that she had repairs done to the roof of the house and at the completion of the job, she wanted to pay the contractor, with cash in hand, who was still cleaning up from the job and placing his equipment on the truck! The 1930 census indicated that Frances was residing at home with her sister Teresa at 605 Linden Street and wasa box maker. She had to come in contact with a tenant, Joseph and Martha Strassburger, because in 1930, it shows their renting the apt at 605 linden Street in Ludlow, Kentucky! It is not certain if they realized they were distant cousins. Time marches on, and in 1980, Frances passed away; and the date fo death gathered from the prayer card from her funeral. Frances is buried with her parents and two other single sisters, in Saint John's cemetery. The large ALLGEYER stone at Saint John's Cemetery is cleary visible from the small road where other Allgeyer familiy and relatives are buried. Aunt Frances was a frequent visitor to our family functions, such as the trip to Mammoth Cave, Kentucky in the mid-60's, and graduations. Frances remained sharp as a tack up to her death in 1980.
Note:   !Frances lived her entire life in Ludlow Kentucky at 605 Linden Street in Ludlow, Kentucky
