a. Note:   lgeyer and Victoria Schuh. He was born in Gamshurst and baptized there. At the age of 1 and 1/2 years of age he emigrated with his parents when they emigrated in 1854. He first resided in Mercer County, Ohio, and eventually settted in Ludlow with his faily by 1862. A little later, Ignatz Allgeyer began work for the railroad which came to Ludlow, Ketnucky. He remained employed there all his life. The 1910-1911 William's City Directory for Covington and Newport had a section for Ludlow, Kentucky and Ignatius is noted as being a foreman of laborers at the C.N.O. and T.P. Railroad, and residing at a house at 109 Linden Street. The 1920-21 editon lists him as as residing at 18 Church Street with his daughters Mary C., and Cecilia and son Joseph G. Frank his son lived at #20 Church, and John. resided at #22. Ignatius passed away at the age of 78 in Cincinnati at Good Samartan Hospital as a result of an accident he sustained at work in the railroad yards. He suffered a broken hip. Information about Ignatius was obtained from the Church records of Saint Boniface Church in Ludlow, KY. And from the microfilmed record of the LDS library. Buried in Saint John's Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky
