a. Note:   e in error per the OFB Gamshurst and other sources from Rolf Federle. The database is set up now as it appears in the OFB Gamshurst, on page 281, family #2048. Various spellings include Meÿer and Meier, but to keep the integrity of the database, any spellings with an umlaut as in former times, will be rendered without it today in the database. Johann Georg Meyer first married Anna Catharina Füller when he was 24, but the marriage produced no children. After nearly 19 years of marraige his first wife passed away and he married just two months later the a9 year old Maria Elisabetha Bühler. He was already 53 by the time they married in 1759. The couple had 8 children together and he lived to be 81. Johann Georg Meyer was a daylaborer and resided in Litzloch.
