a. Note:   e are in the direct line of this author. Nicholas Schuoch (son of Jacob) married a Catharina Braun in Gamshurst, and one of their daughters, Anna Catharina was the great grandmother of Octavian Allgeier of Gamshurst. Another son of Jacob Schuoch, John George Schuoch, married an Apolonia Winther and one of their children, Adam Schuhe, and too eventually settled in Gamshurst and was the great grandfather of Victoria Schuh. In 1850, Victoria Schuh and Octavian Allgeier married. The first three children of Jacob and Apollonia Schuoch were born in Stollhofen between 1640-1643. Jacob and Apollonia were living in Leiberstung by 1644, with the birth of Michael noted in the baptism registery in the same year. They remained in Leiberstung until their deaths. The spelling of the surname was not a consistant pattern in the old days when this record was first recorded. The consistantcy of the database is important for research and thus the name will be rendered as SCHUH. Most if not all Ortsfamilienbuch utilize this same practice thus it will be in place here.
