a. Note:   p in Gamshurst and was a master lathe operator (Drechslermeister). He married his first wife Maria Anna Volz at the age of 25 and had a total of 5 children; all boys. After the untimely death of his first wife at the age of 25, and with 5 children all under the age of 7, Landolin married his second wife, Maria Magdalena Bell of Freistett, just 3 months after the death of his first wife. Together, Landolin had a son, and a daughter with Magdlaena. Landolin lived to the age of 71 when he passed away in 1855.
