Notes
a. Note:   ism witnesses to Matthew were: Johann George Dichelbohrer, citizen and farmer of Heselbach, which was a community of the Grossweier parish and Anna Maria Meyer. According to the Marriage register of Gamshurst (LDS Microfilm #958351), Matthew's profession was a farmer. At the age of 26, he married the 19 year old Catharina Schmalz (Rin 67). Over a span of twenty-three years, they were to have a total of nine children, of which only 5 were to survive into adulthood and raise their families. There 5 boys and 4 girls and a stillborn child. Christina Scherer passed away in 1775, and Matthew married once again. The marriage records of Gamshurst are missing for the years 1770-1786. Anna Maria Seiler (Rin 242) become the second wife of Matthew Allgeyer on 27 January 1781. However the marriage ceremony took place in Unzhurst. This marriage produced 5 children. Matthew passed away at the age of 72, and the notation of his death can be found on page 33 of the Toteverzeichnis (Death register), on microfilm #958352. His residence was house number 96 in Gamshurst. Some of the entries in the Church registers noted the name as Allgeyer, but in order to stay consistant with the modern day spelling of the surname in Germany and the OFB, it will be spelled as Allgeier.
Note:   !Matthew is the sixth child of nine children of Johannes and Christina Scherer Allgeyer. Bapt
