a. Note:   a Schmalz. He grew up in Gamshurst and resideded at house number #76 and his first wife Elizabeth Volz, was the girl next door at house number #75. She was the daughter of Johann Adam Volz and Anna Maria Lorenz. Around 1778, at the age of 26, Georg Friederick Allgeier married as noted above Elizabeth Volz and they had 5 children together between 1779-1787. Friderick was a witness to the wedding of Elizabeth's brother Franz Joseph Volz in 1786 at house #9 to Maria Anna Koch. Franz Joseph's brother Ambrose was married the same day. After the death of his first wife in 1788, Georg Friedrick married again, this time to Rosina Hug, 8 months after Elizabeth's death. Rosina and Georg Friedrick had 10 children together. By tim eof his death in 1820, Georg Friedrick was 68 and had a total of 15 chiildren. Friederick was noted as a citizen of Gamshurst at the time of his death in 1820.
