a. Note:   t. His baptism witnesses were Geoge Braun and Magdalena Kaempf. At the age of 23, Georg being a farmer and citizen in Gamshurst married Ottilia Hafner and they had a total of 10 children together, 4 boys and 6 daughters. They resided at house #17 according to the Familienbuch of Sankt Nikolaus Kirche in Gamshurst (LDS reel #958353, page 33). After the death of his first wife Ottilia Hafner (Rin 773) in 1831, he married Cacilia Haungs of Oberwassern, in 1834. There were no children from second marriage. George passed away in 1850 at the age of 63.
