a. Note:   f Zell. He was baptized the same day, month and year as his birth. Zell by this time was a community in the parish of Unzhurst, but prior to that the community was a part of the Vimbuch parish and many of the old records are located in the Vimbuch reocrds. Therefore per the Familienbuchof Gamshurst (LDS #958353) Joseph Hafner was born in Unzhurst, which is the parish, but the village in which he was born is Zell. In the Zell records many notations are made about the place of burial. Many residents of Zell were buried in the parish cemetery of the Vimbuch community. At the age of 25 Francis Joseph Haffner's married Ottilia Lienhard who was born in a city attached to the parish of Vimbuch, named Balzhofen. There are some Lienhard entries in the Zell records. The Zell (Amt-Buhl) records are located on LDS Microfilm #1045117. Together this family had a total of 6 children: 3 boys and 3 girls but only two survived into adulthood. Ottilia Lienhard passed away in February 1794, but he married maria Lucia Kistner of Zell 15 months after the death of Ottilia and had two more children. At the age of 46, Franz joseph Hafner passed away and was buried in the parish cemetery at Vimbuch.
