a. Note:   st with the birth of Marcus Allgeier, indicating the mother of Maria Anna Burst. Joseph is noted as a farmer or Bauer and citizen of Gamshurst. As noted earlier, the marriage perhaps occurred in another village for there is no mention of a marriage between these two people in Gamshurst. It appears too that this couple only had one child, who passed away at the age of only two months. There were no other children. Joseph passed away in 1771 at the age of 56.
Note:   !The only indication that Joseph married was the fact that a Tauf notaion was made in Gamshur
