a. Note:   !Although no Tauf record was located, the "Jr." was written after each child of John Braun Jr and Anna Catharina Huns. It must be assumed that John's father was John. The John Braun in Gamshurst at this time was the couple John Braun and Gertrude. (MRIN 394). In the death register of Gamshurst, John Braun Jr. died at the age of 38 on 19 Sep 1691, placing his birth at the time of 1653, before the written records of Gamshurst began.
