a. Note:   Remarried in 1864 to another woman named Rhoda Patrick, had 1 child.
 D.H. possibly died in Civil War. In 1880's 2nd Rhoda applied for Union pension but was denied . Possibly because couldn't prove he served in 4th Ark. infantry.
  A David H. Grimes served as 3rd Leutenant in the 27th infantry confederate
 but may not be our man. (unit began spring 1862 ended spring 1865)
