Note: Married Noah Watson. Dad's notes. IGI index lists christening record. The 1891 census of Hoxne lists Ellen as being 21, single, born at Monk Soham, and living in her parent's home at 113 Low Road. In a recent letter, Dec. 1996, from my great aunt Gladys Ruth (Knights),she stated that Ellen came to take care of them after my great-grandmother Elizabeth (Wingfield) died. Aunt Gladys said that Ellen was a very nice, hardworking woman. Letter to Nina Knights from Alice Watson (Ellen's daughter): "My Mother's name was Ellen, she was the eldest girl, she married my father in January 1893. I was the only girl and I had three younger brothers".
