a. Note:   BMD Abstracts From The Renfrew Mercury, 1914 Badham - Mar. 30, Killaloe, Hiram, 16 year old son of George Badham, accidentally in a sawing machine operation. (Apr.2) (My father, Dennis Knights, heard that a piece of a saw blade broke offand hit both Hiram and his cousin, William Kilby, killing them instantly.William'ws obituary notice follows Hiram's.) Kilby - Mar. 30, Killaloe, William Kilby, aged 37. Accidentally in asawing machine operation. (Apr. 2). I have a copy of Hiram's death certificate. Archie Badham is listed as the informant. Taken from the Renfrew Mercury, April 2, 1915: Double Fatality at Killaloe. Killaloe, March 31 - Two residents of this place, Hiram Badham and William Kilby, were instantly killed yesterday by the breaking (of) a sawingmachine which was in operation at the residence of George Badham, the father ofthe former victim. The men were working the machine when suddenly, the tiresof the saw became jammed and broke, the pieces striking the workmen and killingthem instantly. Young Badham was 16 years of age and Kilby was 37 years andmarried.
