Garrison, 3rd Cavalry, joined at Lewisburg Arkansas, 23 September 1863, age 26 years old, born Georgia, mustered out roll 30 June 1865. 1860 Census, Conway county, Arkansas, Union Township: Garrison, Allen, 22, male born Georgia, farmer Elizabeth, 16, female born Georgia Neomi, 3/12 female born Arkansas Allen W. Garrison was the 3rd child of Capel Garrison and his wife Elizabeth Baker, whom he married in Franklin County, Georgia on 19 August 1830, Elizabeth was the daughter of Charles Baker. Elizabeth died in Chattooga County, Georgia on 3 april 1854, from a heart attack brought on when a man attacked one of her sons.
