 reported misssing (AWOL) on 31 August 1864.
 John Evans Garrison and his wife Narcissis ran a store at Pitonia Mississippi,
 which was located in what is now the Seneca district of Lamar County, Mississippi.
 The following is from Ruth Rouse: 1900 Marion County, Mississippi census has John Garrison and children that remain at home, living next door to Rufus Dunn and his wife. I believe this is a brother to Allie Clay Dunn, second wife of John Evans Garrison.
 John Evans Garrison left some property he owned in Lamar county, Mississippi to his
 daughter Talula Ann Garrison Rouse. Talula
 Ann Garrison Rouse's husband Chalmers
 sold the land without her permission. She
 was very upset about this.
