 Caleb came to Conway county, Arkansas about 1856. He raised his daughter
 Louisa's two children until his death and then they lived with their uncle, James
 F. Garrison in Conway county, Arkansas.
 Passing this along from Jimmie Garrison Merrit: Jedediah Garrison was born in the
 Carolinas and was a descendant of five brothers, who migrated from England to
 America in the early history of this Country. These brothers and their descendants took active parts in the early wars of the colonies for protection and preservation
 of the Union. Jedediah served in the Revolutionary War and was also in the War
 of 1812 with his son Caleb. He led an active life, was a member of the Methodist Church, and died the year of 1830.
