a. Note:   ght the proceeds of the sale the land to sons Meador Boatright, Jonas Boatright and Valentine Boatright, to be equally divided among them, son Daniel Boatright already having received his proportion of the estate.
  Found in the 1850, Scot County, VA (Western District) Census. Lists Meadow Boatright, 54, Do not understand the symbol or letters used for occupation; Polly, 40, states she was a person over 30 who could read and write; James B., 21; Elizabeth J., 16; Sarah J., 14; Granville H., 13; John M., 12; Lewis C., 8; Louiza 6; and Jonas 3. It appears that Granville had attended school, Lewis and Louiza as well.
  Found in the 1860 Scott Co., VA US Census: Lists Meadow Boatright, 64, Farmer; Mary, 50, Spinster; Elizabeth, 26, Spinster; Granville H.; 22, Farm Hand; John M. 20, Farm Hand; Lewis, 17, Farm Hand; Louiza 15, Spinster; Jonas, 14; Hiram, 12; William, 6; Robert P., 5.
