Note: ssn 096-32-3071 Marilyn Ann Jessberger of Waller Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2000, at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. She was the daughter of the late William and Stanlay Ziegler of New York. Marilyn was born in the Bronx on March 4, 1937. She graduated from NYU with an art degree. While living in Connecticut Marilyn enjoyed the garden club, wildlife society, painting and going to tag sales with the girls. She then moved to Long Island where she was very active with her daughter in pony club. Marilyn moved to Waller Texas in the summer of 1981. She loved living in Texas saying “I was born a Texan it just took me longer to get here”. In Texas Marilyn expanded her interests with antique collecting, koi ponds, stained glass, and was always trying to quench her thirst for knowledge. Marilyn was the person everybody called with questions because we all knew she had the answers. Marilyn was loved by all who knew her for her uniqueness and zest for life. She will be missed dearly by all of us. She was the candle whose light shone so brightly, a flame that has been extinguished all too soon. Marilyn is survived by her brother William Ziegler, wife Arleen and their two children Bill and Bobby; her eldest son William F. Jessberger and his son Austin; daughter Lynn Ann McCarver, her husband Tommie, and children Chantell, Chad and Tera; youngest son Thomas B. Jessberger, his wife Tamar and their two children Keira and Erik. Memorial Service were held on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, 2000, by her children, at her home in Waller, Texas.
