Note: County Court Records July 28, 1784- It is ordered by the court that Letters of Administration be granted Elizabeth Coffee on Estate of Salathiel Coffee, dec'd. Joel Coffee and Nathan Coffee, securities. 29 July 1784- Inventory of Estate of Salathiel Coffee returned by the Administrix and ordered recorded. 26 October 1784- It is ordered by the court the the Perishable Estate of Salatheil Coffe be sold by the sheriff according to law. Elizabeth Coffee was evidently the wife of Salathiel. Though no children were named in the above records, this does not preclude the possiblity of there being children. If he had any family, it is quite possible that his family would have moved to Green Co. KY with the rest of his family. There were three siblings, Newton, Eli, and Elizabeth "Graney" Coffey, who settled in Green Co. KY during the 1790's, along with the rest of the Coffey family.
