Notes
a. Note:   It's said Rebecca Raugh Kelley followed Samuel Parrish Kelley during his enlistment. By 1863 they had 5 children who , it is said accompanied her. She worked in fields and mills to support the family. Henry was 10 years old, Roda was 7 years old, George Washington was 6 year old; Margaret 4 years old and Elmer was 2 years old, after the war 5 more children were born Lon Alonza , Mary, viola, Levi, and Loretta, It is said Rebecca Raugh Kelley accepted pieces of silver for her labor and sold or traded it for food and supplies for the family. Later in 1899 Rebecca Raugh Kelley apparently joined her son George Washington Kelley, Lompoc, California and moved with him and his family to Lancaster, California where she died and is buried. This statement is corrected in the newspaper article 1914 in Ledger Gazette. Dec 11, 1914 Obituary of Rebecca Kelley.
