Note: December 4, 1877 Sidney Reynolds born in Wookey England February 6, 1907 Sale of property in England. February 16, 1907 Sidney sailed to America from Liverpool, England. February 25, 1907 He landed in New York. May 7, 1907 Florence Ada Reynolds with her three children, Edith, Herbert, and Maurice James "Babe" and accompanied by her sister Laure Day, sailed for America. May 17, 1907 They landed in New York. August 1907 In New York, Sidney Reynolds filed "Intention to become an America Citizen". June 1908 The Family was in Lancaster, California. 1908-1909 Possibly worked on construction of Los Angeles Aqueduct. 1910 Sidney built a house on Elm Street. Jan 1910 Lancaster U.S. Census read he was a ranch hand, wife Ada was a laundress. July 1916 M. J. Reynolds dies father of Sidney Reynolds. 1917-1920 Sidney Reynolds was a truck driver for the Lancaster Feed and Fuel Company. June 1919 Sidney Reynolds very ill October 1919 Built a garage at his house on Elm. He rented out a cottage he owned. This possibly was when he bought the car. November 1919 Twentieth Wedding Anniversary Celebrated. 1920 Lancaster U.S. Census reads Sidney Reynolds was a truck driver. June 1920 Sidney Reynolds opened the Reynolds Feed and Fuel Store on 10th Street next to the Telephone company. Later he bought a delivery truck. August 1920 There were no more ads for the store. May 1921 Sidney Reynolds was sexton for the cemetery. July 1922 they were in Lankershiem. Sept 1922 Joy Kelley and Edith Reynolds were married in Lankershiem. Oct. 1921 and Mar 1922 At sometime between these dates Sidney and Ada Reynolds and son Herbert Thomas moved from Lancaster. Edith Reynolds stayed, and worked there , she lived in the family house. The 1921 and 1922 newspapers had no article about the business closing and the family moving away. I read them twice Evelyn Kelley Ball. 19__ Sidney Reynolds worked at Warner Brothers movie studies as a carpenter building movie sets 19__ They lived on Riverton Avenue in North Hollywood. 1936 They lived on Satsuma Avenue in North Hollywood. March 27, 1937 Sidney and Ada Reynolds each received a Certificate of U.S. Citizenship from the Southern District of California. 1940's They lived on North Valley Street in Burbank. April 23 1957 Sidney Reynolds died in the Los Angeles County Hospital of cancer of the head and of the pancreas. He buried in the Lancaster Cemetery District.
