Text: EAST MEMORIAL GARDENS CEMETERY East Memorial Gardens is located on Hwy 67 North in Miller County, Arkansas. The front entrance is approximately one mile north of the entrance of Texarkana Regional Airport. It is a perpetual care cemetery and is divided into many Gardens/Sections. While this cemetery is not the oldest in the area, begun in 1952, it has more than 7,000 of our family members located there. Only 20% of headstones were physically surveyed. Other sources used for the burial data include Obituaries, Social Security Death Record Index and Interment Records. Work was done by Doris Lindblad, Betty Sharp,Tresa Underwood and Sue Killebrew. This was in Aug. 2002.
