Note: Enlisted in Army Air Force around June 1943 to 1945. During WWII, he was stationed in England. He was shot down over France on Christmas Eve. He made it to unoccupied France. His hat said "PC" and people thought he was a "Prisoner of War." He was a gunner on the B-52.
