a. Note:   ISAAC Boring's Land Lottery Grant Number is 1827, Jackson Co., Ga. He served under Captain George Oldham as a Private. He joined the army at Hillsborough, North Carolina after being drafted about May 1,1780 and he marched to South Carolina. He was General GATES defeat the battle of Camden and served 6 months until November 1780 when he was discharged from Captain Oldams company somewhere in South Carolina. DAR marked grave, Ebenezer Churchyard, Winder GA, John Clarke Chapter. Issac and his brother John were found in the 1820 Forsythe Co GA census. Issac and John Boring were found in 1840 in Forsythe Co GA census also. Isaac lived in Caswell Co, NC at enlistment.
