a. Note:   "Jake" as he was called by many, was said to have been a very good guitar player. He often played with his son "Hank". Jake was also a painter,
 and painted for the Pluto company, painting red devils on water tanks.
 He also painted an Ice cream sundae on the side of the French Lick drug
 store. It took up one whole wall. My mother also talked of him painting
 signs for the local funeral home.
