It was the original German Methodist church and cemetery. Trust and Sophia purchased the land and home a few years before the railroad gained a right-of-way through the property. The church then divided into two, one on Flucom Road and the other called Ebenezer Evangelical, which later burned. So there are three cemeteries with Knorpps in them
