Note: Per Rick Jaskulsky, Joyce Knorpp's husband. August 2007 Juanita's parents moved to Cali first. Willard and Juanita went out to visit them. When they returned to MO., Willard lost his job. They had no kids at the time so they packed their clothes and moved to Cali. DEATH: Willard L. Knorpp, 94, of Lancaster, CA, went home to the Lord on February 25, 2012. He was born October 16, 1917, in De Soto, Missouri, to proud parents, William and Anna Williams Knorpp. He served in the Army during WWII as a Staff Sergeant. He loved camping out, fishing, painting, jewelry making, rock hunting, gardening and walking in the great outdoors.Survivors include 2 daughters, Joyce Jaskulsky, of Spring Creek, NV, and Brenda Knorpp, of Rosamond, CA; his sister-in-law, Gwen Gill, granddaughter, Leann Washington, great-grandsons, Michael Washington, Jr, and Sean Washington, all of Lancaster, CA. He was preceded in death by Juanita Knorpp, his wife of 45 years, and also his companion of 13 years, Dorothy Gayle.His funeral service will be held Friday, March 2, 2012, at 11:00 AM, with a visitation at 10:00 AM, both at Stickel Mortuary, 2201 Inyo St, Mojave, CA, www.StickelCares.com. ,824-2328. Burial, with military honors, at Mojave Public Cemetery. There will be a reception following the graveside service, at 2:00 PM, at Mayflower Gardens2, L12 and Ringstem, Lancaster.
