Note: well. A few months before her death it was decided by those in NorthCarolina that she should go into a home that would better care forher. She sold her land, her trailer and gave away her dogs which sheloved so very much and moved to the Westwood Rehabilitation Center inArchdale, Guilford County, NC. Lethat had goneinto a coma and they didn't expect her to live out the night. Istayed in contact with Helen during the day checking on her progressand there never was a change. That evening Helen called and said thatLetha had died at approximately 8:30 p.m. NC time. My brother Fred and I paid to have pink flowers and assorted spraysent to the funeral. I'll miss her very much but the greatconsolation is that Letha was ready to go and was looking forward tomeeting (as she would say...) "the Good Lord". I don't think I knowof a happier person in heaven right now. I love you Letha. A side Note: Helen told me that Letha had a locket that was myGrandma Davis'. It was meant for me upon Lethas death and Helen saidthat she would send it to me. Also, the family bible was in thepossession of my cousin Sylvia (Troy & Alma Proctors daughter) andthat in Lethas will it is to go to Harold my brother. Helen said thatshe would do what she could to be sure that the bible got to him.
Note: I spoke to Letha the week before she died and she wasn't doing very
