Note: Gloria Jean Maggard, 58, of 440 Fifty Lakes Drive, Boiling Spring Lakes, died Tuesday, June 19, 2000, at Dosher Memorial Hospital, Southport. She was born at Southport, N.C. the daughter of the late Jake Parnell and Ann Stidhem, and was the widow of Jimmy Lee Maggard. Mrs. Maggard is survived by five sons, Bobby Maggard, of Bolivia, Kenny Maggard, Dale Maggard, Danny Maggard and Jimmy Maggard Jr. all of Boiling Spring Lakes; two sisters, Diane Clark and Betty Knight both of Southport; one brother, Billy Stidhem, of Boiling Spring Lakes; nine grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 22, 2000 at 2 p.m. from the graveside in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Bolivia. Rev. Betty McKendrie will officiate.
