Note: 9, of 2651 Cinder St., died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at her home. Born Sept. 6, 1934, in Orbisonia, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Roy Elmer and Eva Jane Varner Worthy. Her husband, Charles W. Wrights Sr., died Oct. 17, 1993. They were married Nov. 17, 1951. She was employed by Hi-Greens Dress Factory for 20 years. She attended St. Thomas Assembly of God Church in St. Thomas, Pa. She is survived by two daughters, Carmen J. Pike of Fort Loudon, Pa., a nd Cindy L. Wrights of Fayetteville, Pa.; one son, Charles W. Wrights J r. of Chambersburg; two sisters, Betty Harkerode of Huntingdon, Pa., and Marie Crouse of Spring Run, Pa.; six brothers, Robert Worthy of Huntingdon, Thomas Worthy of Orbisonia, Roy Worthy of Gary, Ind., Gary Worthy of De laware, Jake Worthy and Gene Worthy, both of Mount Union, Pa.; five grandc hildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Viola Wakefield; and two brother s, Raymond Worthy and William Worthy. Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home in Ch ambersburg. The Rev. Cecily Eisley will officiate. Burial will be in Upp er Strasburg Methodist Cemetery in Upper Strasburg, Pa. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 to 10 a. m. at the funeral home.
