Note: 3, at Woodland Retirement Center, Orbisonia, following an extended illness. Born Aug. 13, 1926, in Wayne Township, Mifflin County, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Mabel (Worthy) Sample. She was married to Melvin S. Booher Aug. 31, 1944, at Orbisonia. Mr. Booher preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1997. Three sons survive; William S. Booher and Donald E. Booher, both of Orbisonia, and Duane F. Booher, Mount Union. There are nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Sample and Harvey Sample; and two sisters, Catherine Smith and Florence Pratt. Mrs. Booher was a charter member of Harvest Ministries of the Church of God of Prophecy, Shirleysburg, R.R. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will he held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Harvest Ministries of the Church of God of Prophecy, Shirleysburg, R.R., with Bishop Henry B. Grimes Jr., senior pastor of Harvest Ministries; Bishop Cervin L. McKinnon, presiding bishop of Pennsylvania; and the Rev. Titus D. Anderson officiating. Interment will be made in Jordan Cemetery, Orbisonia, R.R.
