a. Note:   f RD, Robertsdale, Pa., died at 11:55 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2005, at Woodland. Born November 14, 1922, in Wood Township, Huntingdon County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Stains) Watkins. She was married to Clarence Duvall on October 4, 1937. Mr. Duvall preceded in death on August 21, 1972. 38 Surviving are nine children: Betty Johnson, Wells Tannery; Robert Duvall, Robertsdale; Lawrence Duvall, Robertsdale; James Duvall, Ft. Loudon; Richard Duvall, Broad Top; Vera Smith, Hopewell; Dorothy Davis, Chambersburg; Louise Wilson, Broad Top; and William Duvall, Robertsdale; 30 grandchildren; 43 greatgrandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-great-grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters: Melvin Watkins, Dry Run; Ralph Watkins, Hustontown; Clarence Watkins Jr., Orbisonia; Robert Watkins, Robertsdale; Marlin Watkins Sr., Robertsdale; Winifred Worthing, Mapleton; and Isabelle Cramer, Todd. Two daughters, Hazel Duvall, an infant Hazel, and Mary Clevenger; and granddaughter Connie; two brothers, Lawrence and Llewellyn; and one sister, Vera Swindell, preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a loving mother who treasured her small little home in Ground Hog Valley. She enjoyed being outside, working with her rosebushes and looking after her grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, August 1, 2005, at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, Cassville, Pa., with Rev. Donald Simmons officiating. Interment was made in Wells Valley Methodist Cemetery, Wells Tannery, Pa. Contributions may be given to the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, c/o Brown Funeral Home, PO Box 220, Orbisonia, Pa., 17243, to help defray funeral expenses.
