a. Note:   r ho me on Tuesday evening, July 20th, of neuralgia. The deceased was bo rn in Lockes Valley on May 20, 1858, and at her death was 57 years and 2 m onths old. She was a daughter of Simon and Eliza LOCKE. She is surviv ed by her husband, Charles NORRIS, and the following children:--James NORR IS of Shade Gap, Mrs. Elsie SNYDER of Mt. Union, Mrs. Gertrude SNYDER of S hade Gap, and Lester and Chester NORRIS at home; also by the following bro thers and sisters:--Mack LOCKE, of Locke’s Valley, Mrs. Mary A. PIPER of B loomsburg, Harry R. LOCKE and Mrs. P. B. CUTSHALL of Huntingdon. Mrs. NORRIS was a consistent member of the Methodist Church for many year s, a kind and loving companion, a good mother and will be missed by all h er neighbors and friends in the community in which she lived on accou nt of her noble character and Christian life. The funeral was held from Pleasant Hill M. E. Church on Thursday, July 22n d, at 2 o’clock p. m. The services were conducted by a former pastor, Re v. Samuel J. PITTINGER. Interment at Pleasant Hill cemetery.
