Note: er Mrs. Elsie Kelly Snyder of Mount Union, R.D., died in the J. C. Blair Memo rial Hospital yesterday, Sunday, December 1, 1963, at 5:20 p.m. followi ng an extended illness. The deceased was born April 20, 1876 in Black Log Valley, the daught er of Isaac and Mary (Gifford) Kelly. She married Oren Snyder on April 2 9, 1896 at Orbisonia with the Rev. Mr. Sparks performing the ceremony in t he Kelly home. Mr. Snyder preceded his wife in death on January 17, 1934. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Frank Goodheart, Lancaster; W ilbur R. Snyder, Mapleton, R.D.; Ralph J. Snyder, Mount Union; Mrs. Ru th Bair, Mount Union; R.D.; H. L. Snyder, Mount Union, R.D. and Mrs. Gra ce Carr, Canton, Ohio. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren; 52 great-gra ndchildren; two brothers, James Kelly, Chicago, Ill. and Belmont D. Kell y, Arnold and a sister, Mrs. John Miller, Latrobe. One son and one daught er preceded Mrs. Snyder in death. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Allenport Methodist Church, a member of t he Mrs. Roy Bard Sunday School class and a member of the W.S.C.S. of the c hurch. Funeral services will be held at the Clark funeral home in Mount Uni on on Wednesday afternoon, December 4, at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. Harold A sh and the Rev. Frank Crawford will officiate and interment will be ma de in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received after no on on Tuesday until the hour of the services on Wednesday at the funeral h ome.
