Note: r S. Norris, 73, of 804 West Sixth Street, Lewistown died unexpected ly Saturday, March 4, 1967 at 4 p.m. in Memphis, Tenn. where he was visiti ng his son. Death was due to a heart seizure.Born at Shade Gap on May 3, 1893, he was a son of Charles A. and Jane El la (Lock) Norris. He was united in marriage to Hazel G. Price, who surviv es, along with the following children: Charles A. Norris, Harrisburg; Ja mes L. Norris, Lewistown; Mrs. Raymond (Betty Jane) Gers, Duncannon; Mr s. William (Margaret) Barrett, Carlisle and Robert E. Norris, Memphis, Ten n. There are 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.The deceased was the last surviving member of his immediate family.He was a member of the Lake Park Methodist Church. He belonged to t he 25 Year Club and to the Pensioners Club.He was employed with the American Viscose Division of SMC Corporation, Lew istown as a foreman in the carpenter's shop, retiring in 1959.Funeral services were held today from the Hoenstine funeral home, Lewistow n, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Milton R. Wildemuth officiated and interment was m ade in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Shade Gap.
